  • 1. Lighthouse (Live Session)

A faint beacon shining in the darkness
    A flicker that never fades
It beams out but it's dark below
    I can't see, I can't go

Unable to breathe, I leaped out
Ran down a back alley filled with the smell of rats
I've got nothing, nothing at all

“I hope you all die,” I thought
As I swayed back and forth on the swing
Looking up in spring, there's a star shining behind the clouds

A distinct beacon shining in the darkness
    A flicker that never fades
It beams out but it's dark below
    I can't see, I can't go

    I was forced to hold
A box to put my dreams in
Gotta hurry, gotta fill it up
I've got nothing, nothing at all

“It must be nice to be young”
    I don't care, you asshole
If I die tomorrow, that's it as far as my life goes

A lone beacon burning in the darkness
Even if I wave my hand and chase after it
It beams with light but it's dark below
    I can't see, I can't go

    Lighthouse
    Don't think about saving people
    Just keep shining

    2. Responder (Live Session)

In the middle of the night that envelops the city
I ponder the meaning of myself

Mask my vanity and feign sanity with a smile
The edges of my mind are breaking down

Just deciding which path is the right one to take
    Narrowed the road ahead

How long will I have to live through these days?
    Sadness comes and goes
    “There’s joy too, you know?”
    That's right
    I know that for sure
    But it’s always like this
    I don’t know what I know

Shameless light from a cracked screen
I start comparing and lose my composure
    The numbers are solid

How long will I have to live through these days?
    Hatred comes and goes
    “Just be yourself, you know?”
    That's right
    Can you please shut up?
    I wonder if someday
    I’ll know

How long will I have to live through these days?
    Sadness comes and goes
    “There’s joy too, you know?”
    That's right
    I know that for sure
    But it’s always like this
    I don’t know what I know

    3. Outcast (Live Session)

    Those few seconds after birth
Are our last bits of freedom
A game of musical chairs that goes on and on
    Till I get blood-stained feet

I can't sit in a chair for too long
I'll fall apart if I stay
I'll go somewhere else and leave people behind
Common sense gets older and older

    Take the helm
Reject the oppressive looks I get from others
And set a course straight through the unknown darkness
    Be on my own
    I can sit right there

    Thanks for leaving me out
When I realize I've been thrown to the wayside
    I am free
Meet up with individuals who can't be replaced

    Demons aiming for the top
Treasure Island is a depressing place
Happiness hides in the warmth from two seconds ago

On the waves of the day-to-day
I turn my back on the shining jealousy
Take the helm of the love in my heart
Shun the curses I put on myself
And set a course straight through the unknown darkness
    Be on my own
    I sit right there
And become a beacon of light

    4. Orange (feat. MC. waka)

    You’re awake and all wet
Lazing around in the middle of a pool
Ouch, I looked back to those days
    The scar is still here

Just by walking, I’m back in the 90s
I’ve got a uniform on with some sagging pants, a towel on my buzz cut
Looking back now, it was pretty cringe
Once I take off my helmet and shoulder pads, there’s nothing to do after class
Someone called me, “Ota and Tanaka are at the yakiniku shop!” and I run out of the mahjong parlor
I stash my signature paper in my bike basket and start pedaling
My phone rings while I’m on my way, Ota went home but Tanaka’s still there
Unsure what to do, I head home
I talked about it on Kensaku-chan
    But Tanaka-san wasn’t laughing
    But Tanaka-san wasn’t laughing

    Asagaya and Koenji
    Evening and orange
Envy and jealousy, grievances and resentments
    They’re bound to this path
    Asagaya and Koenji
    Evening and orange
    The train heading for glory
Passes me by on its holiday schedule

After you succeed, they envy you
Inside of that jealousy, it’s a silent universe
I remember the day you cried
You’re still a part of me

I spend a hundred yen for a five-minute shower, but it goes by quick
With the wind on the way back as my dryer, saving myself ten yen
I hit up the 100-yen shop and scramble for some half-off onigiri with my neighbors
I’ve got no results to show, but a rose is still a rose, so even if you’re right, I’m not listening
Channeling my midnight ressentiment, I made this DeLorean, Asagaya, I’m out
You’re in the same car, right? Funky Fresh Gen, my man!
Look at me now, are you proud of me? Maeken-san!
Now that I think about it, it was merely a scene of a larger story
My troubles are hard to understand and keep on increasing
I’d also want Kon Arimura to watch this movie
    LET’s roll LIGHTHOUSE#1

    Asagaya and Koenji
    Morning and orange
    Like a post-game RPG
I continue wandering along the railway line
    Asagaya and Koenji
    Morning and orange
There’s still more EXP to get in the post-game
So I ride the Sobu Line down to Suidobashi

Asagaya and Koenji On a stormy morning
    Morning and orange
Envy and jealousy, grievances and resentments You had your jealousy and regretted it
    I paint this road over
Asagaya and Koenji I found you
    Morning and orange
Just the two of us, the setting sun on our backs You’re still here inside of me
    Singing along this road

    5. Dancing Reluctantly (Live Session)

Even though we’d solved none of our problems
    We came to the beach

A sprinkle of dreams and the sound of waves
Helped a little to keep us alive

    The present will eventually be
    An indistinct, uncertain story

Sugar crystals, swaying in the waves
Capture our troubled minds and dissolve into the sea
The hands on the clock ticked away
    Giving life to the everyday

    Helplessly
    I'm still alive
    In all this shit
    It’s freaking amazing

    Reluctantly
    I breathe and dance
    My cheeks flush red
    As we dance, laughing together

    Even after a hundred years
    Surprise! We’ll still be alive
    On this planet
    Where we struggled together

    After we’d long gone
The beacon of light just continued to shine down
    On the days we sing
On the dances where we laugh together

    6. Mad Hope - Short (feat. Louis Cole, Sam Gendel)

    Hopes
    Left brain
    The child of meaning
    Mobility
    The three poisons
    A moonless night
    Come over here
    Aspirations
    Possibilities
    God works in mysterious ways
    A guiding light
    Striking a pose
    I celebrate
    Love
    A window
